The Bathers is a photographic story that invites us to contemplate an everyday act: the joy of children facing the waves. In a coastal town, near Urabá (Colombia), on the beach of Puerto Escondido, a camera was forced to its maximum capacity. In that search to destroy an image, other forms were born. Blurry and grainy pictures looked similar to a charcoal sketch. The presence of the children and their choreographies in the water presented the sea as a stage. As ghostly acts, a white story reflected on the wave's light.
